Thing Will Work For You by LostonWallace Thing Will Work For You by LostonWallace
I did this doodle as Ben Grimm as a warm-up sketch this morning, and I tossed some digital colors on it. The Thing is one of the three topics for the PencilJack Weekly Sketch Group, so this was meant prepared for that. It's not a really a political commentary--it's more of a commentary on poor ol' "Bashful Benji", and also a commentary on how rough I felt this morning after waking up at 1:45 AM! Who needs sleep, really...? Going to be a really loooonngg day.

I guess that comes with growing up in the '70s and '80s. You always remember comics best the way they were when you were around 10-12 years of age. That's the period of time for me when I enjoyed superhero comics the most. I loved being able to pick up a comic drawn by John Buscema, John Romita Sr, Gil Kane, Neal Adams, Jack Kirby, etc. Fun times!
